Interesting “Time” interview with Woody
Another great movie by Woody is:
ALICE (1990)
“Alice Tate, mother of two, with a marriage of 16 years, finds herself falling for the handsome sax player, Joe. Stricken with a backache, she consults Dr. Yang, an oriental herbalist who realizes that her problems are not related to her back, but in her mind and heart. Dr. Yang’s magical herbs give Alice wondrous powers, taking her out of well-established rut. “

What are your favorite Woody Allen movies? I love at least 10. Since childhood I’m watching his movies (some he directed, for some wrote screenplay or just been actor) and I love his work. So, that’s why I’m asking you this question. In some of my posts I’ll present to your few of his movies I love. Let’s start with:
Hannah and Her Sisters (1986)
“Between two Thanksgivings, Hannah’s husband falls in love with her sister Lee, while her hypochondriac ex-husband rekindles his relationship with her sister Holly. “
One of sweetest movies ever. It’s funny but also sad and nostalgic. But you’re pleased with how it ends. Woody is being his usual self, but that’s what makes it all more charming and fun. Wonderful scenes of bookstores, shops, home Holiday atmosphere, lovely music… How could someone not love this movie would be strange to me.
